Good news! After four years, Local Maternity Thread is replacing our Takoma Park clothing closet with a larger, sturdier shed and celebrating with a maternity and nursing clothing giveaway!

Everyone is welcome to browse and take home donated maternity and nursing clothes in a variety of sizes and styles. Whether you’re looking for clothing because of financial need, trying to stretch your resources, or simply prefer to shop second-hand, you’re welcome here.

The giveaway is part of our effort to make maternity and nursing clothing more accessible while keeping good-quality clothes in circulation. Come browse, find something that works for you, and give pre-loved clothing a second life.

Partway through the giveaway, we’ll cut the ribbon and raise a toast to our new clothing closet! Whether you’re new to Local Maternity Thread or have been with us from the beginning, we hope you’ll join us for this fun community celebration.
