[Pilot] Prenatal Support Village Group

Designed to foster community, share knowledge, and build a local "village" of support, the group meets monthly in person and will cover topics like taking care of your pregnant body and mind, navigating changing relationships, and preparing to care for a newborn.

How it Works - Takoma Park

All are welcome to browse through our clothing closet located at 6905 Poplar Avenue in Takoma Park, MD, and take anything you need.

Leave a Thread
To donate maternity and/or nursing clothing, simply leave it in the clothing closet or, if it’s too full, leave it on the porch of 6905 Poplar Ave, Takoma Park, MD. Due to limited space, we can only accept maternity and nursing clothing - all sizes and seasons - and nursing bras.

Repeat
Please no resale; return the clothes to the closet or pass them along to someone else when you no longer need them.

How it Works - Northeast DC

Mamatoto Village’s Mama Baby Pamper Closet is located inside of their headquarters at 4315 Sheriff Rd NE, Washington, DC 20019. It is accessible to current program participants during office hours.

Mamatoto Village accepts maternity and/or nursing clothing donations as well, please see their website for details. In addition, clothing that is donated at our Takoma Park clothing closet and not absorbed by the local community is added to Mamatoto Village’s clothing closet.
