Where can I donate…?
At Local Maternity Thread, our mission is to keep maternity and nursing clothing in circulation. While we gladly accept maternity and nursing clothing, our cozy little space means we can't take other items at this time.
Looking to donate baby gear, clothing, diapers or other essentials? We've got you covered—check out our local donation tips below! ✨

Where can I donate pregnancy pillows and nursing pillows?
As far as we know, no organizations in the DMV accept pregnancy pillows and nursing pillows. They take up a lot of space and people often don’t want to take them second-hand from someone they don’t know, so please don’t drop them off anyway! To pass along a pregnancy or nursing pillow, consider posting in your local Buy Nothing group or offering them on your neighborhood listserv. Otherwise, you may take them to Value Village or Goodwill.
If you are aware of additional places to donate items, please let us know at info@localmaternitythread.org.
